Designed by TruexCullins, this project stands as a model for truly "green" residential development in Vermont. During her architectural internship at TruexCullins, Susan Coddaire was a key member of the project team in designing these net-zero energy homes. Coupled with passive design strategies, each of the six homes in this development are equipped with state-of-the art photovoltaic solar collectors and geothermal heat exchange systems. The combination of age-old passive energy design with the latest technology allows these homes to offset their yearly energy consumption with site-generated energy production on a net yearly basis.
