Located in the heart of Burlington, Vermont studio b is a small design company providing custom architectural services within both commercial and residential realms. Collaboration with other design firms allows for flexibility in project scale, efficiency of production and expanded technical capabilities.

Company owner and registered architect, Susan Coddaire holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon, LEED® accreditation, and AIA Membership. A native Vermonter, Susan has inherited a deep respect for the unique and largely unspoiled landscape of Vermont. Living in both Oregon and Colorado instilled an appreciation for the landscape of the American West as well. It is toward a mutual respect between the natural world and human community that studio b’s design ethic is rooted: from site location to building orientation, building form and material selection.
